Even Al baxter dominated
The Tahs never looked like losing despite the close scoreline. Apart from a well worked Reds try on halftime, they played second fiddle.
QLD was soft
They talked up how pretty they were going to be and ignored every counterattacking opportunity. They choked

I'm right here numbnuts.
Very proud of Qld's effort. One inch from an early second half try and a lucky bounce to Tahu - thems the breaks. The result could so easily have been very different.
Qld will be back next week (have only played at home once so far) - its a marathon, not a sprint.

This tends to put it all into perspective-
The Reds are still without a Super rugby win over their old foes since 2004 and no one poured more into trying to snap that streak than impressive lock Hugh McMeniman.
The team wore black armbands to honour McMeniman's father Geoff, the lawyer and Nudgee College old boy, who died hours before the match from his recent illness.
"Hugh really inspired us. The fact he turned up to play for us after what he has been through makes rugby pale. Our thoughts are with the McMeniman family," Reds coach Phil Mooney said.
on ya Hugh. must have been tough, shame the Reds couldn't grab a win for you.
Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
All this game did was cure my imsomnia.
^^^ Then you must not appreciate a good rugby contest.
McMinimums only real contribution to the game was coming in the side and taking people out with cheap shots. I suppose he didn't get injured this week.........or did he? Is he out for a month?
QLD love to talk up a poor performance. QLD played like backs. They talked up their 7's rugby all week and couldn't deliver. The Tahs pack was first, daylight second. Palu ran amock.
Seeing Baxter dominate at scrum time must have been deeply disturbing. Holmes got worked over......and had nothing

Sorry Sleazy, the rest of us must have been watching a different match.... you know, the one where the Tahs were shell shocked, stunned and confused until mungo Tahu picked up an arsey bounce and tripped over the line against the run.
Of course the Tahs (Waugh in particular) love re-writing history to compensate
Looking forward to the Tahs playing like the sissy boys they truly are - once they get on the road.

jayzus Sleazy, I think you need to get banned on principal... Sure, Queenslanders are from Queensland, but backing the 'tahs?
Just one look at the latest banner on the premier Waratahs supporters website, www.gothetahs.com, puts the whole NSW Waratahs team, management and supporters into perspective.
Go on - check it out, read a few posts while you're there... Naafi is a regular... and give yourself an uppercut...
What are they thinking?! Waugh licking his lips, with a bit of a Sleazy[winebaas] smile on his face, checking out soft end of a muddy 'tah scrum ....
