Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

I agree but what adults do (and like it or lump it at 23yo you claim to be an adult, want to be treated like one and are responsible for your own actions) is sit where allocated for takeoff and negotiate a change once at cruising altitude.

In nearly 40 years of air travel with my wife we've NEVER not had success with this strategy.

I also suggest that this Bali break was a last minute arrangement.

The fault is all with JOC - none of it lies with check-in staff, flight crew or AFP.

It would NEVER have have become an AFP issue until JOC made it one!

From what I have heard and surmised from different streams is that, firstly he was not drunk. Secondly he wasn't getting on the plane in different seats to his GF.
I am not a journalist. I have a full time job.(ie my investigation is part time) I have read loads of reports. I don't believe most of the shit written by full time employed journalists.
Since this started I have said if true he has screwed himself. IF TRUE
I have not yet read JOCs report.

A friend of mine spoke to JOC around 12 on sat night. He said that he didn't seem drunk. If he was flying at 5 he would have had to have been there by 3. Our $hitty airport does not have a bar open at 3 and he would not have been in the lounge cos he was not flying qantas.
very doubtful he was drunk, but probably shouldn't have argued with staff.
    Nothing story
    Sign him up Force!

Sharpie in Rugby HQ last night seemed to think it's game over. I hope so myself. Bullet dodged.

Basically that he had a clean slate from McKenzie, making this a first offence and he will be cheap and therefore should play for Queensland. Given the quality of men playing at the Reds over the last couple of years he would fit right in. (Digby, Quade, Genia there's a certain 'character' amongst their backs)

Brilliant summary Gigs! I think he also said he's never broken the law so what's all the fuss about; or words to that effect.

He didn't seem to get the whole "culture", "responsibility to the team" and "how it looks on the outside" thing that Sharpie was referring to.

Different code but similar issues? Saw this on the FoxSports link TIF posted earlier:

Just with being ''escorted off the premises by the coppers'' if what JOC is saying is true that it is a Seating issue that got out of hand and had to rebook then of course he would have had to be walked out of Customs you cant just come and go in that place. If it was such a big deal why was he able te rebook and catch another flight? If he was so drunk causing a scene how did he make it past check in, through security, past customs to be pulled up at check in?

Think everyone should just take a step back calm down take a deep breath and chill....
Agreed - if everything that is alleged in the media was true, they would not have let him on another flight, and he likely would've been booked by the cops. Story seems a bit overblown. Hell, I've almost been "asked to leave" - sometimes it only takes a ticket clerk with a bad attitude.

I lost a lot of respect for JOC because of his previous transgressions and the manner in which he left the Force, so I'm no apologist - but I think there's quite a bit of "fact" missing from the media reports.

They then also said - oh but Richard Graham is with the Reds and he won't have him (JOC).
