I have no doubt that the pitch/field was prepared for the derby on saturday arvo. Greenkeeper would have to be an employee of the WAFC

but it didn't even look prepared for that... in years gone Subi was thick green and soft .. nothing could have fixed that by yesterday

they have sprinklers on the oval.. rain means nout - that needs fertiliser, thickening up, sunshine and a little TLC of which looking at the ground one would suspect it has had very little of all the above.. Just because it rains on Saturday doesn't mean it is going to grown 2 inches by Sunday lol

Yeah...that was awesome...its probably the first game ive hung around afterwards (normally rush to get in members tent for a couple)...ill be hanging around every week now!

After the stink I kicked up last week about people leaving early and saying I'd never leave the ground before the players were off, I made a point of hanging around- though this week I reckon the boys took about 45 minutes going around doing autographs and photos and stuff, which tested my resolve a bit! Good on em for doing it though, even after the WAFC turned the lights off on them!

I noticed the WAFC Security goons trying to rush Gits off the field. But as they would get a trot up he would run over the the fence and sign some more.

You could just see the goon getting madder and madder.

Can't say I'm hugely impressed witht he WAFC fun police! They seem to want to get the players off the field ASAP whether the players want to go or not.....Who's the celebrity here?
