Yep nothing to be cheerful about there... but its just one match...

Mortlock going for a 20/80 dangerous play and injuring himself didn't help the Brumbies to fashion a late win... A minutes before they lost AAC

Yes I think his is a better winger at this time... He's not a better Fullback than Gerrard or AAC... The Brumbies also have other young talent in their ranks which will push for that spot... But they also have a lot of backs coming of contract and Drew has the experience now to make the starting 15... ready to play at strength next season...

Shep is struggling to put two games together... his injury was nasty and he has issues with the ankles strength... I'm not sure he can kick a ball all day at fullback this season...

You keep banging on about next season, said that Drew will nail down the Gold 15 next season. If shep misses out this year will be back next year. Anyway Drew can't kick the backside of a barn and he's not injured

Stuff next season, we still have this season to get through and finish off first. Play what is at hand and stop planning ahead when work still needs to be done NOW.

Lote is signed until 2011 isn't he? I can't see the ARU letting him go

Why would his contract be any safer, he'd pay it out in six months and make a million a season playing like a retard in France.

SBW walking out on the Dogs is not the same as walking out on an ARU contract, though. There would be pressure from the IRB for the Frogs not to register a player trying to pull that one, Id imagine.

On the money Shasta, I think that was one things stated when SBW got his skates on last year. The IRB would prevent it if he tried to go and get the big bucks up north with another Union club, if he went chasing some coin from an English Super League club however......

    An interesting thought!

If he was leaving would it not have made sense to make the announcement as close as possible to the finish of the Sharks game, similar to Matt and the Cheetahs game, so that the team has as much time to absorb and deal with the news before the next game.

Something tells me it may not be as cut and dried as it seems and I suspect we may see Drew in Force colours for the next few years.

Com on Drew sign up with us again.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...
