i work in the stocklands shopping centre on south street. but i start uni next tuesday. so if anyone is close to there i'll be able to get some out on monday the 18th.
but i can probably drop some off at jb's or the store(if i can figure out how to get there), but again it probably wont be until next week.
WHEN(not if) we need more. another ream can be printed overnight for another $50.

Well tragic I have about 50 pages ready to go...If you're anywhere near Rocko you can pick them up...I'll be looking around the local stores but aren't terribly mobile right now. I'm not sure where Jono works, but I think he'll be covering Garden City....where can you catch Slo?

Now the printed petition looks great, and all the ideas flowing in here are awsome.
If some money is required or printing I am up for a little support there as well. I am sure I am not the only one!
I think if we can get this online petition up as a webpage (hopefully someone has somewhere available online we can use), we would be able to have a cover note to an email and the link to the page. On the page I think we will need to have place to fill in your name and address, maybe email, then also have a random confirm code and then press a button.
Can anyone do this?? Anyone got any ideas on the text for the email? Same as the petition, with a click the link below to sign?
Again I wont be able to come to the first game but hopefully the games after that I should be able to make. I am in Freo and get on the train there so I can get petitions from supporters all the way to Subiaco!!!

There are sites dedicated to online petitions, but you will be a lot of dodgy entries and in appropriate comments which may negatively affect it's desired impact.
I'd stay with old fashioned pen and paper - emails could likely be accepted and added in to the written petition.
As for printing - I think plain black and white laser is the way to go rather than spending money on colour printers. Keep it simple, we don't need TWF logos on it either - it isn't and ad, it's a letter to the WA Govt and we don't want anything which can detract from that.
Petition wording - GIGS - great job, I think we need to be absolutely sure of the words that will be used before we start - you can't change them afterward. I'm no wordsmith, and the existing text could well be what is needed but we should approach this methodically. RugbyWA should probably be contacted, I'd think they would assist silently if they can, although things may take too long. Also, what is the minimum personal details required? People don;lt like telling strangers where they live or how old they are. I'm sure I've signed petitions where the only details asked were First Initial, Surname, Suburb, Signature.
Having said all this, I am afraid that although happy to help anyway I can, I will be unable to dedicate enough time to be much of an active participant in this, so someone else should probably be the front (wo)man/point of contact and get their face in local papers etc

I know its still early days and were still planning this and i could be getting ahead of myself here. But just getting back to the people we want to present this petition to, should we maybe think about handing a copy to the opposition (not just the government) as well??
If jono goes to Garden City, i can handle Carousel, but what will we be targeting? Just sports stores or all buisness's? Or possibly set up a stall in a section of each shopping centre that has "high traffic flow"??
