Pocock makes the first hard play in defence all game.

Sharpie doing sideline commentary on One HD coverage.
Go you good things! The great escape!
Houdini would have been proud of that!
Mr Chieka needs to look at his selection policy!
Ps drinking Guinness at $6 a pint in Sydney would have made a loss bearable!

It wasn't a win but an escape.
But Moore's call...that's the real aussie style.
Well I've gotta say, once the team that should have started the game got on the field, we started to look like we were a chance.
I assume Fox will be saying it was the second string cashing in on the good platform laid by the starting 15, but nothing was more obviously us than the fact that the strategy of completely ignoring the breakdown was a complete disaster and we needed some actual forwards on the field.
I didn't mind hooper playing 7 once Pocock got on the field and the jump start he got off the scrum to trap burger is something Pocock can't do now, so leave that one as read.
Higgers and Hooper cannot spend a single second on the field at the same time, that much was obvious.
Skelton was struggling to get around the park and seemingly so knackered with the effort that he didn't do much in attack, however he did have about four green jerseys hanging off him most of the night, if he could have got the ball away he might not have been the disaster he has been in the past.
Gits was pretty absent in the middle of the game, I even saw him getting honey badgered at one point. That was until that sublime Matt Giteau style break where Folau failed to run onto his signature "leave it in the air" ball to the support......shows how we need to get more time with him.
Horne was not as valuable as Mitchell, but I thought AAC on the wing was just as bad. The best thing mr two dads did all night was in the 13 channel. Tevita was also pretty quiet earlier in the game, once he got all the flankers out of his space he started to come into his own and did the right stuff.
Not negotiable selections from here on in
Sio needs to start with Moore and Kepu
Two traditional locks are required, Skelton is too flawed at this level
A traditional mix of roles in the back row. If you play hooper at 7 you need pocock at 8
Matty toomua needs a game at 10
Drew Mitchell on a wing and one of those brumbies wingers on the other flank (is either one available?)
Having just heard the fox commentary blowing smoke into Michael cheickas colon, I suspect it'll be more of the same. The line is "the wallaby bus is heading in the right direction" as opposed to "sanity finally prevailed and we squeaked away with a lucky one"

Once again the bench steps up and wins it for us. Good to get the win but it wasn't pretty 16 weeks out from the RWC.

I except I was wrong saying it would be a 10 plus point loss .. I watched 2 different Wallaby teamsone pre Poey and one after Poey was on .. Thats gave hooper to licence to play in the backs... As gigs said maybe nust give him the 13 jumper ... Qc slowed the game down by running sideways and once he was off MT got the back line into position better by taking it up straight...
Falou was good under the high ball and making metres but had no support.Gits played with courage but better once Cooper was
Phipps played better than Genia...
Drop Cooper and Genia
I agree with you Gigs Maybe Beeny Mac as 8 and Poey at 6

One HD coverage much better than having to listen to the drooling Fox sycophants GIGS. Plus they have Sharpie on their team!! 👍👍

We didn't win that one. The boks lost it. Quade should never kick in a wallabies game again after those misses. Absolutely shocking, I thought sias missed some sitters this season but FMD if QC didn't just prove me wrong.
One way or another the game should never have been that close
Toomua, phipps, pocock, macalman have to be started and with the above hooper can stay. Unfortunately for Fardy he suffered from having to make up for higginbotham and hooper.
I even had a waratahs supporter say they need the badger on the wing for some attitude and grunt, probably replace horne.
Genia and cooper, thankyou for the service but off to france.
