I was suprised when this thread popped up. All I heard on Ch7 last night was "Channel 7 is led to believe that Drew Mitchell will sign with NSW". Nothing has hit the papers or the net about anything official. Whilst I don't actually doubt its going to happen, I don't think its really happened yet. As such RWA are possibly clinging to hope.

Very true but we have other (more reliable) sources which said the same thing. I'm just surprised that RugbyWA has come out and denied it....

Drew Michell - The most over rated player in the Force.

I am not fussed to see him go.

I always reckoned he should have to pay $100 to kick the ball and if its a good one he gets his money back. Force would make a couple of grand every match out of him. You can hear the groans around Subi when he kicks.

O'Connors game a fulback was very good and he will develop well in that position but he is probably looking for the limelight in at centre.

Why can't we keep Staniforth?

Ten news said "as revealed here first (because they read it on TWF)" Force winger/fullback Drew Mitchell is set to announce he is leaving. Still no official confirmation though. The Tahs contract will be for 2 years. He was seen talking to Harris this afternoon (...because thats conclusive proof of their story )
Greg Harris also said he wishes he could have got the stadium issue sorted before leaving.
