It sure was. At first look I thought he surely had to drop it just above the ground. Nobody as big as him has any business being that agile!

He's not alone, apparently. Imagine what Inglis (and a host of others) could do in a simple game like AFL. Sheedy reckoned he'd slay 'em after watching him training for just 20 minutes.
No need to worry. What, apart from money, could AFL possibly offer top flight representative players like them from either Rugby code? I definitely don't believe money is a prime motivator for these blokes.

i agree, apart from Wendall joining West Coast they probably couldn't offer alot
Top flight Rugby players of either code get genuine Representative honours in their sport, not some stupid half breed game just so AFL can claim to be an international game, or some bullshit dream team game that glorifies one state

I can remember before AFL there was talk of a State of Origin comp and the Vics killed it off quick.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Burgs, with all due respect
I find it amusing that in 2006 after game 1 and another NSW win, all the noises comming out of Qld were that the concept was under threat of dying etc etc. Now the rednecks are winning its all good??
