I am entitled to Australian, British, Italian and Maltese Passports if I ever get around to applying for some of them, but my primary loyalty will be to the country that nutured and educated me, the country I live in. I am first and foremost Australian.

That's not to say I don't appreciate and love the cultures of the others and support them in various sports. That's not to say I won't occasionally support the underdog against Australia in world sport.

I supported Australia against Italy in the last World Cup soccer tournament and will support Italy against Australia when they play a Rugby test against each other in November.

Please let us not confuse patriotism, sport, and support for the underdog. They can coexist.

by the way id like to add that AAC was obviously acting on orders NOT to chase the ball. the reasoning as far as i can make out is that the South Africans have developed a nasty habit of running blockers so that if he did try to chase he'd have to run around them and effectively be caught out of position and unable to contest the high ball as intended...

That being said their alternative was not effective either so... back to the drawing board ...or... get Mitchell and his big boot on earlier! like on the starting line up!!

OK so for God's sake stop kicking the ball straight to Jantjes!

Possibly you might try kicking it out of play once, would that work?

Maaybe chip it over the wall to a winger? How about trying to run it? or pass it to a forward who you've deliberately pulled out of position for this eventuality, anything but keep on pumping it back to a guy who's nailing you every kick with well placed kicks which are making your life hell. Jeez he didn't change the tactic for 80 minutes and it was getting him nowhere!
