I thought Sheehan was a bit quicker digging the ball out tonight most of the time. Got us on the front foot nicely.

Sharpie is getting real obvious when he's first receiver. Nice to see him mixing it up a bit with the offloads, even if they are a bit off sometimes. But I reckon we can get some good mileage by using him as a decoy more often with Sheehan passing behind him and his pod to the 5/8.

Great to see Kyle get a run. I like the look of him - seems a pretty big unit @ 19. Looks like his first instinct is to run too. Gotta love that.

Sheehan had an excellent game but my MOM was Badger..as superb on attack as defence. Good example was Hodgo's try..Cummins' tackle created the turnover, quickly up onto his feet looking to support, seconds later making that brilliant 40-50m run that set up the potential try of the season. Fantastic stuff..

Just watching the replay now, safe in the knowledge of the result!

The crowd noise in the build up to Hodgo's try - you guys oughta be congratulated. I was really proud in those moments.

What a momentous game! Sharpie passed the ball about 10 times - where did he learn that?

The Badger showed some good things in attack but he still has some work to do in defence.

How well has Cheesie played this season so far? He'd have to be in contention, surely.

A good win, but we must remember the Reds were really quite bad tonight. We come up against a much better oppo next Friday. But at least there's a bit of momentum, which should relate to a bit of self-belief and confidence.

I think some credit for the win should go to VC winner Ben Roberts-Smith. It seems he has been in the teams heads all week and was on the reserve bench tonight.

Christ on a bike! After that first half they came out the sheds and were kicking like a bunch of American cheerleaders. Was that the message from the coach?
Well done guys you played bloody diamond and Brett deserved MOM but if it had gone to the Badger that would also be a fair call

    Great win lads

QLD were soft as shite though........absolute rubbish from them

The kicking in the first 20 minutes after half time was as bad as I've seen in any standard of rugby anywhere.

Thankfully the pop gun kickers decided to run it. QLD were getting back into the game and the momentum seemed to be shifting with each ridiculous and terrible kick.

The meat pies were awesome. Please sir, can we have some more?

    Awesome

Tomorrows Courier Mail should be an awesome read
