Did you guys get Drew Mitchell for a few games? How did he go?

Played 1 game for us back in 07 or 08, scored a try. Had Ripia for a couple of games in 2010, probably didn't pay him enough and this year we have Ben McCalman aligned to us but with Force and Wallaby duties and injuries we haven't seen him.
We also produced Cruz ah Nau but Force let him go.

I agree that clubs slagging each other off is totally unhelpful to the cause of taking WA rugby forward.
I also find it very difficult to believe that RugbyWA would waste their time siitting around plotting about how to favour some clubs over others.
Still there are people out there who think that Elvis Pressley is plotting with JFK to use alien technology to defeat the Martians.

Who does this sound like?
"We can't compete with the other clubs as we are geographically isolated!"
"We can't compete with the other clubs as we can't offer as much money as the other clubs!"
"Our growth pathways are being hampered due to the nepotism of the governing body!"

It sounds like RugbyWA talking about the other Australian super franchises.
It also sounds like Rockingham, Joondalup and Kalamunda (to a lesser extent) talking about Rugby in Perth. (Let's not even get started on country rugby)

So why do we all nod and talk about how unfair it all is when RugbyWA say it, yet jump down the throats of Joondalup or Rockingham when they say the same thing?
