That'll be me each game I get down for Peter
That is fly or drive, either or, but you picked the right number (well, in kilometers anyway!).
"Five thousand" probably comes closer to the mark for away games?

    re General support:
Weeks like this, if in the regular season, is when we will need to step up the support for the boys on the paddock. A home crowd can be worth points and points equal percentage at the end of the year.
For me, it's times like this that you focus on your own team, encouraging them rather than making an arse of yourself bagging refs and the opposition.
The reality is that we are going to see at least one home loss and that is why earlier in this thread I mentioned to consider how we support our team when we lose and to have something ready to cheer them off with. To not only give them a lift for the following week but to also weird out the opposition and those watching on telly that we are the real deal and fully support our team, rain hail or shine, win or lose.
Think it corny or whatever, but if you want your membership or ticket to fully support your team then that is the best course of action. It does nothing for our own team for all they hear from "their crowd" to be random abuse of the ref and opposition players who they know and normally respect. I would go as far as to say it would embarrass some players.
If you are turning up for the spectacle with a take no prisoners attitude then good luck to you but I hope you don't link it to TWF.

Another thought I had was when the opposition runs out the entire crowd is absolutely silent, then the Force come out and all hell breaks loose!!!
Would be really weird for professionals to run out to no crowd when they are all pumped up for the game, they are used to getting either cheered or heckled, not ignored!
    Any thoughts?
Maybe too hard to do first up but if others like it we may be able to work towards the concept next year?

I like your thinking Burgs! Would be very weird for them indeed!....Although i also have the feeling that it will be hard to do it on Friday as only the people on this forum will really know about it but im sure after a few games or even nest season it could work!

Yeah, I agree probably one of those things to work on for the second season.
Coach is working on ways to get the message to more of the Force members so we can find it easier to spread the word, stay tuned!

Has anyone thought of making some Song Sheets to hand out to people before the game? (With the permission of Ground Staff of course)

That way those people who arent a member of TWF will know the chants and what not

That could work - I think it would be good to target a block at a time. Use your work equipoment to print up a reem of sheets, walk down the block you are in and hand a bunch to the first person in each row and say pass them on. I think between all TWF members we'd cover a lot of the ground and it would only take 5 minutes of your time. How many seats in a block? 400 500?

The age old question is what chant/song? Keeping it short and obvious would be good - the "sound off" types would probably work best. We won;t get anything done for the first game, but start sewing the seeds - introduce yourself to the other members in front of and behind you etc and tell them the plans (and to come here toi TWF of course ) so that at the home game when we are ready for an assault on subi, they are somewhat prepared...

Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
