Ex; I know you probably never watch Fox 502 even though you've got it now. But have you ever seen the promo for "Queenslanders Only" on another channel? Features their new "Acnhor Lady" Hannah Holliss looking down at her right arm which is slowly turning Maroon and exclaining "What's happenning to me?!!?!!". Justin Hodges tells her "Your'e becoming one of us Hannah". Now Hannah was born in the NT of Jawoyn descent, grew up in Canberra and studied in Melbourne before working on NITV and then Fox in Sydney. You have travelled similarly on your journey into exile. I just hope your right arm is not starting to show a tinge of Powder Blue these days.
I'll qualify that by saying..I know you might feel insulted, though it's totally in jest. I know you are Sea of Blue through and through and you know my views on Rat's Arse and supporting them by buying tix etc. Anyway, I think it might be better to leave this particular dead horse alone. People feel the way the feel and you can't rationalise them around to your point of view. Sensible and logical as it is.

Good work mate with those letter, keep it up! You seem to have a way of getting responses from some of the very important rugby individuals at some of the leading state rugby unions which is quite impressive. I am sure they enjoy getting the point of view from people such as yourself, it keeps them grounded and gives em a sense of reality of the wider issues in the game.
Thanks mate. A lot of the drive for change has to come from the fans getting vocal as too many people have a she will be alright and it is beyond my control attitude.

I also bet that they release an official crowd figure for the Wallabies match in Sydney tonight because there "should" be over 10,000 there unlike most of the Tahs matches this year.

Very interested to know how it turned out that we had so many for the Fiji game; but less for both Tonga and the Crusaders. Really thought the Crusaders would sell out too.
I still wonder whether that first game was promoted in such a way that many mainstream non-rugby people believed that it was our only game this year.

Wolfmother
Record crowd in Sydney Football Stadium...Wallabies lose
Listening to young Kiwis on train after game...not in clobber....they think WSR and Force is a joke that will fold. They were very immature even for Kiwis
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
I find kiwis to be very thin skinned rugby supporters.
But don't give a shit if their teams don't sign up for wsr, I don't think the concept works as well with the time difference

If I generously allocate 9,000 to each of the 5 games which the Waratahs have failed to announce attendance then the average attendances to games so far in 2018 as follows:
Western Force: 15,900 (Perth Population - 2 Million.)
QLD Reds: 12,600 (Brisbane Pop - 2 Million)
NSW Waratahs: 10,000 (Sydney Pop: 5 Million)
Melb Rebels: 9,900 (Melb Pop: 4.8 Million
ACT Brumbies: 8,500 (ACT Pop: 0.4 Million)
Hope we continue to get good turn-outs for the last 3 games.
Anyway, time to get the ball rolling again on the next WSR fixtures, an international set of visitors, let's hope they play up the cultural significance in the ads around town, and aim for an equivalent media blitz as per Fiji.
Alison, any news on the Western Force's NRC fixtures and how they'll be handled? Same sort of promotion and a price on the tickets instead of free entry? Or just like last year?
