"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
Match the post matc interview with Tom Horton, straight out drops an F-bomb live.
Sorry to see Ollie Callan was taken to hospital! Hope he’s ok.
Well sh@t a brick..The Force were even mentioned on Offsiders this morning..
Callan hospitalised with neck injury as Force down Highlanders in Perth
"The Western Force have become just the second Australian team to post a win over a New Zealand opponent this season after beating the Highlanders 30-17 in Perth. The Force ran in three first-half tries to lead 24-3 at the break of Saturday night’s match, and they withheld a short-lived second-half fightback to secure the vital victory in front of 8293 fans. The Brumbies’ win over the Blues in Melbourne in round two had been the only Australian win over a New Zealand side this Super Rugby Pacific season.
But Force coach Simon Cron expressed his concern for Ollie Callan after the flanker was taken to hospital with a neck injury. Callan was injured in the opening minutes of Saturday night’s 30-17 win over the Highlanders when his neck got compressed while making a tackle. The 22-year-old was in immediate pain following the hit, and he was assessed by medical staff for several minutes before being stretchered off. Callan was taken to hospital for further assessment, and Cron is unsure what the prognosis is.
“It was really hard contact. It looked a little bit like compressed,” Cron said. “We’re worried about him. We love our boys, and you care for them and it’s hard when they get hurt. Seeing Ollie go down so early, in the coaches’ box there was genuine concern, and you could see it in the player group."

"12 Years a Supporter" starring the #SeaOfBlue
How NSW-centric is www.rugby.com.au:
Oh... nope they have it sorted in some shit way, but they are listed as 10th
5 bonus points also helps put them equal with us never mind they’ve only one 2 games!
did anyone feel like the refs were giving us the rub of the ref due to the missed Tah's call?
TBH, I thought it was mostly the difference you see when the team has the ball in their hands and attacking, vs backpedalling on defense for the first 20 minutes like last week.
The journey has just begun, however the destination is still a long way off but wow, wow, wow, that was an almighty performance. The green shoots are starting to grow.
Dominant tackles, offloads to supporting players, better kicking accuracy and options seem to be the areas that showed considerable improvement.
How good was that win at home on Anzac week in front of the sea of blue.
Great stats all round the park and it was a great team effort however a few deserve to be highlighted:
Should not single anyone out as it was a team effort, however Wells led from the front, Kalapu just goes from stregnth to stregnth, Anstee and Williams constantly good this season, Mataele on fire again Robertson and Fines has to be their best I have seen them play and Hegarty deserved MOM, all polish and class.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
