Great examples. Of these 'Brumbies', one is actually from the ACT.
Batger - Sydney
Burgess - Newcastle
Carraro - Randwick
Freier - Sydney
Mowen - Brisbane
Norton-Knight - Canberra
Sheehan - Geraldton (want him back??)
Tahu - Melbourne
Tuqiri - Fiji
Valentine - Newcastle (isn't he going west?)
Vickerman - Cape Town
Well if you want to take into account where players are from...then we need to account for differences in population. Since NSW has around three and a half times as many people as WA then I expect the Tahs would make the finals at least three and a half more times than the Force.
Great news...now the Force don't need to make the finals for another 21 years (24 total years in comp) to be on par with the 7 years it took the Tahs to play finals footy.
Funny how you hassle Dunning and Baxter, yet they pushed the Force pack all over the park.
i think i got a nibble

Yes, because this a Force supporters site, of course there will be bias.
You joined the forum knowing it was a Force supporters forum. Whether we remain biased when commenting on the Wallabies is up to us, but it is to be expected that there will be some bias associated with Force supporters, just as there is for Tahs, Red and Brumbies supporters.Originally Posted by TOCC

KEY-RICED, where you come from is pretty immaterial. Using that logic makes the ABs (most of the time), the Wallabies (occasionally), the English (all of the time) etc etc all look pretty sad.
It’s about how you play in the jersey you’re currently wearing and what you bring to the band of brothers you’re playing with.
Woody,
I completely agree with you. But unfortunately there are some, mostly Red and Tah supporters, who seem to think that the Force should have gotten all players from WA. They would have been quite happy for the Force to finish last for the next twenty years, while WA talent starts to develope, than go and spend a few dollars to get some half decent players, some of whom weren't even starting players on their former team. Yet at the same time it is quite OK as evidenced from the Tahs lineup, for them to pinch players from other Super 14 teams as well as Rugby league and the islands. Bit of a double standard going on there I think.
I'm serious about Sheehan, you can have him back... straight swap for Giteau? He'd have to sit on the bench behind Beale obviously, but should make the 22.
laura your forgetting that there arent enough Queensland supporters out there to form a Reds supporters site. And what Queenslanders that do support the Reds are not exactly computer literate. Thats why they mooch off us
