BTW that bloke who played against the Lions - Hugh Roach - looks pretty handy. Good work rate around the park and a good ball carrier. Seen him play for Eastwood a couple of times. Plays Hooker and Openside. A blast from the past seeing the 7 throw to the lineout. But more usually it was a winger.

What’s also interesting about Roach is that he was not named in the Tahs squad going to Argentina next week.

I just don't think he is a good enough hooker. His technique is wanting and he is very small. He certainly is not needed for breakaway spots. I am sure that there are other lads who are better suited including a few local boys.
