Mind you, that's what our current commitee is doing ...
I don't know if it is standard practice for star players or not, but wanting KPIs for others in his contract makes O'Connor sound like a bit of a douche.
We are better of without him if his conditions come anywhere near that. I mean all that hassle and whats to say he won't get himself injured and miss half the season. Oh for another Scott Staniforth.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
the way JOC played in the last game makes me wonder if the KPI would apply if he had shitty games or was responsible for a loss, which pretty much summed up last week to be fair he kicked us out the game.
I agree - bring back Hilgi. Look at Stannard as an example. Had some success here. Starved a bit of an opportunity through our purchase of giggling superstars (not mentioning anyone in particular but Drew comes to mind!!)
Stannard went off to 7's. Did the hard yards, sat on the bench and took his opportunity. Bring Hilgi back I say. As has been said previously... a superstar team is better than a gaggle of superstar princesses!!!
Makes you wonder as to the current status of Brock James' contract with Clermont
Ahh until 2012.

JOC was a member of the Cottesloe Rugby Club.... Has anyone thought to ask how they feel?
Gutted.
I hear they're taking up a collection to buy some third graders from Nedlands as replacements ...
