If anything the quokka affair happened on the payroll.
Of course it is not an absolute measure but the fact remains that there is obviously a difference in behaviour, and I would assume the same would be the case with the other Force players, who seems like angels when you meet them but then get into trouble whether it be like the Quokka thing or the Henjak thing....

i didn't say that it makes it ok. im just saying that Brownie is one of the nicest rugby players out and that this incident at the club game was out of character and the alcohol also makes that happen.

I'm more critical of the SMH then anyone so no I don't have any affiliation with them, I just believe it's better to not swoon at the feet of my sporting team, they are just people after all.

I know Brown's instances of times of bad judgement isn't his person as a whole but you cannot deny that he does do some things that are not 100% advisable and it seems most of the time on this board the players are put forward as being saints, swooning over how nice they are etc. Like for example just because you met the player at a game and he seemed fairly nice that doesn't neccessarily mean he is an alround good guy, you would only know if you were good mates with him. I mean, you don't see many workers in the service industry cursing at thier customers or anything do you....

Yet you keep rehatching the quokka incident.

Im not denying that 2 of his actions are not 100% advisable. But what normal human being does not do something at some stage in there life that is not totally advisable?

Have you ever met Brownie? In his Force gear after a game or not, he is not drastically different.

I think we are on the wrong wave length here, I am arguing Brown is a normal human and as a normal human is not perfect. It just seems that the players are built up as super nice and super awesome on this forum, but normal humans by and large have many flaws....

BLR, you're on a hiding to nothing around here. Now, if you were to put some zoot on Lote, you'd be a hero....

Can you prove this or are you just big noting yourself??
How do you know how critical everyone else is??

Are you just a bored little wanker who gets a thrill out of stirring other people up??
Are you someone who starts something then realises they are out of their depth so starts trying to back pedal??

You're going round in circles BLR

The original debate was that a few of us who actually know him away from the field or a club environment said it was out of character for the person we know.
That isn't something that you can contradict unless you too also know him away from the field and the club environment.

He is a very normal, down to earth bloke who likes to have a bit of fun now and again like thousands of other early twenties blokes around Australia.
Sometimes his choices may not be that great in hindsight but that happens in life.

What he doesn't deserve is people purporting to be supporters of his team joining the media and the world at large in continually referring back to past indiscretions to keep them current.

This isn’t some mega star actor or sportsman who is constantly in the media with the latest quotable quote or talking trash, he is (becoming) a local lad who happens to be pretty good at playing Rugby and chooses to do it for our team.

What he did was OUT OF CHARACTER!!!
