What really had my blood boiling was the (perceived) lack of passion in the game. The players looked flat for most of the game and there didn't seem to be anyone taking responsibility and urging..begging..his teammates to wake up and show some passion.
It's not just about shouting at your teammates. YOU put in the hard hit ..YOU run hard with the ball at the opposition then politely suggest to your slack teammates to do the same. Sometimes like it not, you have to confront the bastards either side of you on the field (not in the fecking showers) and ask them the rhetorical, "Why the feck did you bother showing up at all today?"
Finally, did we learn nothing from last year's S14 and Internationals? Love and respect the fecking ball and you will be rewarded; drop it (shit happens), kick it away (aimlessly downfield) and more often than not you get punished. Simple but true.

Ahh look. As embarrassing as that try was KQ, it was a great tactical move. Wish we did something like that. Or went for a drop goal.

Mate, you're brave - I couldn't bring myself to watch it, choosing to watch the Adelaide 7s instead..
It's still sitting on my IQ waiting for me to pluck up the courage to watch it. I'm still mad as hell about it, maybe I've settled down a bit, but the fact is, that's one game I thought we should have had in the bag, done, sure thing......to lose it so......ummmm wimpishly tore my friggin' heart out.
I certainly want this team to pull their collective finger out their arse and get a but more results oriented.......I'm sick of praising gallantry and honorable defeats.
The annoying thing is, the pack, where I thought we'd get belted was one of the areas we came close in......the backs, where I thought we were on paper about four pages better we sucked balls.
And the pack barely achieved parity in most areas, but they WERE pretty much playing the BI lions with Somerville

What I am worried about is the lack of variety to their play. lEFT TWICE RIGHT ONCE Sharpie up the middle gain 2 m back Browny up the middle back 3 m, Sheehan dabs the blind side up 1 m A prop skirts around the side up 1 m all this equals zero m gained... everytime after 10 phases the ball goes out the backs by which time the opp backline is full of fowards and backs. Spin the f ken ball out to Smith and Co create overlap keep the ball moving... i thinkwe are a fit side lets use our strength.
