Burgs,as usual, brings up many pertinant points.however blaming the inexperience of the inside backs as a reason for Henners erratic form is drawing a long bow in my opinion. The fact he wasnt handed the ball on a platter is no excuse either.A sign of a good halfback is one that can deliver good service under adverse conditions. You have to ferret in there & get the ball out
I have not given up on him yet;he showed glimpses against Samoa what he is capable of.
this is the year he has to step up & prove Connolly & many TWF fans wrong.
    he has the skills
    does he have the ticker?

The Lambs wont be silent - they cant help it, they bleet for the sake of bleeting.

Henjak may have a match winning performance and yet they will still say he played poorly. Hell there are people in this thread who criticised Hejaks performace, and they weren't even their to watch it.

It wont matter whether he plays well or not - he is on a hiding to nothing.

Like to see all his critics come on to post and eat a bit of humble pie after he makes you eat it.

I, for one, am hanging out for him to play well. I will then praise the living daylights out of him.

Try not to get confused with anti Henners banter. I am absolutely dumbfounded by his support on here. He really is a shite halfback
    No site is "mine"

One of the female members on TWF would beg to differ with the first statement based on some experience...

I tend to agree with the second, even if the mods are facists ...

and as for henjak's skills as a half - pure opinion which you are welcome to express here, as are all others.

Lets start this debate again in a couple weeks..

Nothing wrong with being a fascist Coach. You might end up with Julien O'Neil in here otherwise. That wasn't me by the way. I am and always have been a chiselhead. I make no apologies for not being too clever. I do the best with what the good Lord gave me.

You must have loved the photo of henners getting his hair done in the Sunday times. The lad isn't tough enough for professional rugby

    Why?
    It should be debated weekly

Haha I know the feeling. I've put a couple of posts on in the past with fire in my belly. No one will convince me I was wrong in principle, but on reflection the reaction I got convinced me that some things were best left unsaid until I could say "I told you so". Frankly, if it doesn't work out that way, then they were better left unsaid in the first place!
I do admire your tenacity though. Cheers. Hope to share a glass or two of medicine with you after this weeks game.

Because you have nothing to debate chiselhead, just same thing over and over again, it's boring. Debates tend to need more than facts on one side and "you're wrong" on the other.
How about choosing another player to start the week on, surely "the best the good Lord gave you" allows your disdain spread to more than one player....

    Too slow off the mark
Takes the wrong option too often
Runs and gets isolated far too often
Rarely makes a break due to lack of vision and pace
    Kicking is usually poor
    Kicks when he should pass
    Cannot tackle
Loves to stand and watch the ball at the back of the ruck a la Gregan
Loves to pick up the ball and take a few steps backwards before passing.......I wonder where he learnt that?
Was clearly given his position by going to a toffs rugby school in Canberra and once enveloped by the GPS rugby brigade was pushed through the system despite a clear lack of ability.
    Average at best.
Which part of that did you not understand?
