Couldn't agree more with you NTT. I did not see the game, but by all reports it sounded like it turned ugly. Yes the way a ref handles the game can lead to frustration from players, but that doesn't mean that they can go and punch another player. If i had a fight with my girlfriend or a bad day at work, is it ok for me to go out and hit someone on the street? Years ago you had the odd cheap shot in our game, but it's different today. Is it the society we live in today? Not taking responsibility for our own actions and blaming someone else.

I suppose the other point that players need to consider is that punching someone in a game of rugby is still also a criminal offence. There have been numerous incidents where a player have beein seriously hurt and a civil case of assualt has been put forward. A players actions on a rugby field can have serious consequences to their life off it.
If you are so frustrated at work or home, that you believe you will hit someone, you should be walking away and doing something to calm yourself down, if you don't, the consequences of your actions are no one elses fault but yours. Why is a rugby pitch any different?
Take the incident at the MR7's last year. Thuggary has no place in our sport, strength and skill do!
All good and logical points however the MR7's offender received a slap over the wrist and is still running around the paddock for Cottesloe. If the Rugby Union wants to differentiate Union from that other mob then they should have wiped the guy. This weeks judiciary outcomes will be interesting - hopefully the message is getting through and the latest round of offenders are taken out for a long time.
I have a fundamental issue with gutless thugs getting a few weeks for assault whilst the victim may have to live with permanent disability for the balance of his life. You would think that the Authorities would have the same view.
The latest rumour is that the Neddies guy who ran onto the field was a relative of one of the inner sanctum at Neddies.
Will Neddies apply their own Code of Conduct (so proudly displayed on their website) to this guy or will they let Rugby WA handle it? My vote is crucifixion.
Lets get the video clip up here so we can assess the situation.
I gather RugbyWA owns the copyright? Would they allow it?
I think they You Tube it all anyway..

Just had a look, no round 14 games seem to be up yet. (or 13).
Stadh no mention of the classey neddies lady who punched the player guess you missed that and did'nt hear the tj say neddies player punched him and ref say but the rocky guy put his hands up or the neddies player punch the rocky player and rocky player get sent off even thou ref said you did'nt punch him but you went too you must have missed all that and more hey.
