There are a several issues relating to this which we in the sea of blue have legitimate grievance ,
I would say that if it is arguable that the board had the best interest of rugby in mind ,but as a consequence of that premise they are incompetent.The board needs to change not just CEO
What is inarguable is the dulplicity , financial curiosities and double standards in the choice of who to drop,
( ultimately rebels vs force)
- we await outcome of the senate inquiries and possible asic investiagation to shed more light in this.
Also the dropping of western Australia like a hot spud since.No apology , no sense of “you are still Part of us”
The reason we over here are so angered ,at the risk of being accused of “not moving on”, is the fundamental injustice of the whole issue.
IF change doesn’t occurin the ARU board and fundamental culture or thinking then nothing will change in the future,
