hey, hey, hey - enough of the cricket talk ...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
sorry coach, i can assure you it happened organically though!
I'm not sure what part of "asset "raped" at a individual visiting worker level" indicates a deliberate confusion of your two issues but you often know more about what I am writing than I do.
I don't give a stuff if someone has been here for ten minutes or ten generations, if they consider WA their home then that is what it is.
At least a half of this sites membership would be first or second generation in WA, with a fair smattering of accents to go with it, and I don't consider them any less a Western Australian than I am with seven generations on either side.
As I said, the more the merrier.
The people that get up my nose are the modern day Vikings who come to "plunder" the wealth, bitching and moaning about the place the whole time, contributing relatively bugger all, with no intent to stay. To them I quite openly say love it or leave it as you are taking the place of many others who would love to live here.
"The hat" sits squarely wherever it comfortably settles.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
at times yes, but not overall. Unfortunately when it did happen Ponting didn't exactly have alot else to go with. Michael Hussy getting a bowl?
Symmonds is a hack and should never be picked again. Then he can be asked "if he can't beat, can't beat, can't beat that taste of dissappointment"
sorry to break up the Scintillating East vs West repartee![]()

I dare say that people who don't plan to stay don't really give a fats proverbial about what happens here? Why do you care about them that much?
I would focus my energy towards constructive debate with people who do intend to stay here in the west, regardless of origin be it from "Eastern Australia" or overseas. Just because someone comes from the east does not mean they intend to carbon copy everything from the east BUT they may bring some constructive ideas to the table to better this state.
A quote from a letter I read in todays West Australian:
"lets be a state that leads, not follows"
Great quote there, Jargs - esp when applied to DLSOriginally Posted by Jargs
