Think you guy's have watched too many episodes of Game of Thrones.Conspiracy theories everywhere, the decision that had to be made has been made,it's time to move on.
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
the grassy Knoll is still there!
With all due respect...we don't even know if any decision regarding Michael Foley has even been made.
There are reportedly comments by the CEO that his position is up for review at the end of the season.
Unless the problems that have got us into this mess are addressed there will be no way forward.
We'll just get another disorganised re-start.
Mark Sinderberry has been at the helm for 3.5 years, the ARU have been involved now for weeks if not months, and the only news that gets out is was is either leaked or made up by the press.
The Reds are getting thrashed by a team we held to 1 point. I take great solace from small things![]()
Foley only got the job on Nathan Sharpes advice to the board.
Even tho he was decisive at Waratahs and tried to undermined the coach and others.
So blame the board for not checking out the problems.
Richard graham was appointed on Aru advice as Robbie Dean's found out he was useless and told him he needs to get some super rugby experience. Once again blame the board for bowing to the Aru and not for checking out whether he was any good or not.
Mitchell should of been given the arse when there was a revolt between players and management, but once again the board failed to act!
So blame the board for whomping out of the tough decisions.
The only "report" that we have is the comment in Payto & Panda's rumour column in the Daily Telegraph on 6 May which said:
"The Force’s woes are well documented so this news won’t come as a shock: Michael Foley has been told he won’t be coaching the club in 2017.
Foley has a year left on his contract and has an even longer timetable for success but we hear he’s run out of time, and was given the heads up by Force boss Mark Sinderberry that the club will make a change at the end of the season."
So now we have to read NSW newspapers to get news about the Western Force?
Good for the ARU and Mark Sinderberry to let us know the current status and that's a great way to establish the bona fides of the new regime at the Force.
Not when he first came here as an assistant.
Your version might correct when he became head coach .

Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
So after going back through this thread all we have is rumours?
Not one genuine fact apart from the FACT that we know Foley's job SHOULD be under threat.
Maybe the ARU and RWA haven't commented yet as they haven't got anything to comment on yet!
Just sayin!
May the FORCE be with you!
Not sure what your point is being the 3rd person to post the contents of the article but good for you.
I get my news from any newspaper/website that reports on Rugby. It is the age of the Internet after all.
The only issue I see is that either Paynton has an insider at RugbyWA or someone at the ARU has leaked the info to him.
Or perhaps Snob is right, Sinderberry hasnt commented on any of it yet because there is nothing to comment on.
One other thing Snob is right about is Foley's job should be under threat.
