Maybe. Pretty sure Brumbies fans had banked a home win for this week too. There were so many Chicken Little posts around here after that away loss to the Kings that this forum looked a mass depression convention. BUT they have proved to be very competitive in every match so far. Keep the faith

At least you guys get to watch Force games live, in a new (almost completed) stadium.
All I get is once a year surrounded by (re)Tah(ds) in a 40 year old concrete freezer with a broken big screen

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
On a side note, did we have a moment's silence for Eaton's wife? I think the Hurricanes did.
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Didn't see the game but I am depressed anyway. Is the coach going to try some of his other players to see if they gel? Is Tupou a 15 or 13 ? Why these guys don't front up week in week out baffles me and I guess everyone else. They dominate 3/4's of a game one week then get smashed the next. Any shrinks care to explain.
there was just a complete breakdown in attack. I saw toby tuck the ball under his pit for about 5 consecutive phases meters from the magic line, and was repelled, then when the ball moved to the halves, all momentum stopped. Then, when the ball found its way out to the backs, again, we went sideways, backwards and stopped.
Everyone was flat, and there was no movement, no structure.
all said, I got to see a day of rugby, had a bell full of (overpriced-understrength) rum and rolled onto the pub after
do it all again next week! god love rugby season.
I have been to every minute of every home game. Until now.
I left at the 50 minute mark after Kingis try, couldnt bare it any more. Didnt care if we made a comeback or not. It was the worst performance I have ever seen![]()
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
Its such a shame that pro players cannot follow instructions. Heard that all week they were told that when they make a line break... no bullshit 50-50 balls. Set it up and a few phases later they will score..... simple stuff along with carrying the ball away from contact Mr MMM.... bleeding U12s work. Protect the ball in contact and don't loose it in a tackle Mr Toupo for the fifth time. The coaches can only do so much and practice is not game time.
There needs to be some radical changes to the starting line up and a realisation that some of these players are just not playing anywhere close to their potential. Come on Foley, bite the bullet and dump the under performers NOW.

True that Jono but please can some one tell me why they insist on playing Toupo at all - 4 lost in contacts, very few run meters, cant kick and slips over to let in the softest try ever.... it is not as if he has been outstanding at 15 in any game he has started.. let Cpt Beaky have a crack IMO
