Charlie a promising work in progress, but Tom a great "get", only wish it was a longer commitment.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Need a solid replacement with McCauley going, that's why I've suggested Jack Wright. Hockings would be great but I don't think that's likely.
Is McCauley going?? Where to?
Australie Ryan MCCAULEY, Lock, leaves the Western Force (AUS) to sign with Valence Romans (FRA) for 2 years until 2025 , source Le site officiel de Valence Romans

Seems a reliable source.
Here is my speculation for the day.
Nic White to Captain the Western Force in 2024.

It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
I was never a fan of McCauley. I think we need a big lock in the Sitaleki Timani mould rather than another more mobile lock. Rodda and Williams cover that well.
It'd be great to try to bring Esei Ha'angana back.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

From Valance Romans rugby. Translation thanks to Google :
RYAN MCCAULEY IS COMMITTED TO THE DAMIERS FOR 2 SEASONS!
We found with Ryan everything we were looking for for the top 2nd line position. Namely height, a line leader who excels in the aerial field, quality in movement with and without the ball, as well as experience!
Indeed, despite his young age, Ryan is a former Australian U20 international who already has around forty super rugby matches.
We are very proud to have Ryan with us!
Previous clubs: Waratahs, Exeter Chiefs, Western Force
Honors: 25 matches in the National Rugby Championship, 33 matches in SuperRugby
