Stadh no mention of the classey neddies lady who punched the player guess you missed that and did'nt hear the tj say neddies player punched him and ref say but the rocky guy put his hands up or the neddies player punch the rocky player and rocky player get sent off even thou ref said you did'nt punch him but you went too you must have missed all that and more hey.

Busy night at the HQ with more than 20 cases to be heard at the tribunal. Apart from Prems, apparently there was a brawl in the 3rd grade match UWA played in with several send offs. If someone could elaborate that would be great.
Also word is Phoenix Battye will escape punishment for his part in the Kala v Wanneroo brawl though he should face scrutiny for falsely accusing Kala players of attempting to bully him in the carpark when absolutely no Kala players were even in the carpark at the time. They were inside the club attending speeches as per club protocol.
Also, the fighting was not only confined to the field with several Kala players and at least 1 coach coming to blows after a few too many after game drinks.

No brawl; it was sustained and vile abuse of a female referee by Uni 3rds from what I heard.

Force players always get off. they have immunity.

If he was bolting before the speeches sounds like he's a good team man.

I heard about the verbal abuse of the female referee, which is quite frankly disgusting and sub human behaviour.
I heard something about a brawl in a UWA 3rd grade match from a club representative who is at tonights proceedings. It could be misinformation though.

Letter from RugbyWA to all clubs on The Refs Website:

Dear Presidents, Secretaries and 1st Grade Coaches
I am writing to you at a near identical point of time as a similar note last season. Clearly there is a heightened emphasis on winning at this stage of the year for many teams and others with little to play for.

This combination can lead to ugly situations if we are not all strong about discipline and respect on the field.
I am appalled by some of the incidents that have crept into our game in the last couple of weeks and expect that as the leaders of your clubs that a clear message is broadcast that foul play, fighting and disrespect to the referees is not acceptable.

For the good of the game this behaviour needs to stop.

From a coaching standpoint penalties cost your team severely, cards more so and suspensions even worse, ill-discipline is costing you matches, not referee decisions. As coaches your influence on 20 odd player’s perception of a win or loss is huge. The regular blame apportioned to referees in winning and losing is part of the issue.

You must be good enough to win the game regardless of referee decisions. The referee needs to be taken out of reasons for a loss, focus on what you can control (your team) not what you can’t.

I know you all will agree that these issues should not be part of our game however it is our actions at this point that will either improve our game from this point or allow this to continue.

Battye being acquitted of all wrongdoing is a given, but what about the ordinary mortals?

Can anyone name even one Force player who has received even one weeks suspension from the emasculated and compromised embarrassment we call a judiciary in the last seven years the Force has existed?

Was suspended earlier this year for his flip tackle vs Wests but only after his original slap on the wrist was overturned by appeal.

Hilly's letter to the clubs says it all realy about the current situation. Hopefully it calms down.
Maybe serial offenders should lose competition points?
