lol that is like at work where I hear parents say to their kids "hand the book over to the lady at the counter" and in my mind I am saying "argh I am only 18, I don;t want to be a 'lady'!"

I got called 'madame' when I was shopping in the city yesterday. threw me right off. felt rediculously important. hehe.
I also get called 'lady' at work and it always makes me feel so old. Then again when they call me girl I consider it to be condescending. And when they look at my name badge and call me by my name I get freaked out and worry I should have recognised this person.
That leaves me pondering which of the three options i would prefer to be called...
