Cotts 4blue's average age is well over 30. I think you will find the Neddies teams average is in their mid 20s. Which team is the veterans? Get your facts right before you embarrass yourself any further.
Yeah from what I've seen this is true.

Cavaliers ( Neds Blue) average age is mid 30's. When Nutter plays it goes up to around 100. Don't tell him I said that!! Great bunch of guys, may show up to training when it's not raining. forget them if it looks cloudy. they train the bar down and if they played 10% of the way they talk, even the AB's would lose by 50 points. Great Social bunch.

Thanks to RM for the words of wisdom. All you have managed to do is piss of a whole team. Good luck facing your boys on Saturday night when they realise that it was your comment on here that made Cottesloe smash Nedlands...

Mid 30s is still young in comparison to other teams and other sides have players that are trying out rugby for the first time.
4th grade blue should be a comp for the older blokes and inexperienced players not ex first graders who want to pump everyone by 50 points

Narrow wins over Scott, Uni, Soaks...not even close to 50pts. Not many ex 1st graders in Cavaliers squad either.

RM - I think you have the Cott 4Blue team all wrong, it is more a social team than some of the other teams in that grade. What is training? In three years, that team has never taken the training field, it is simply a team of guys that want to keep playing rugby in some form, but can't commit or are too old to be running around training every week. There is no other grade in which they can play at Cottesloe without training, so what do you suggest they do? I guess they can hang the boots up for good, but who doesn't want to just play one more year and have a run around with their mates. I am sure any player that is serious about their rugby, doesn't aspire to be playing in the 4th grade blue division.

I think it really depends on their age and their ability. There are guys who could and should still be playing 1st grade who are playing what is essentially 4th, 5th and 6th grade - playing against guys in their 40s, 50s and some in their 60s. I think ex-first graders that are still in their early - mid 30s shouldn't be playing any lower than 3rd grade, unless they have seriously let themselves go.

Welcome to the world of RM - Rockingham's conspiricist extraordinaire. Never let facts get in the way of a pathological hatred of Cott, Nedlands or the Western Suburbs in general. I think he had sand kicked in his face on Cott Beach as a child and has never got over it.

If you stick around and contribute you will get used to it and have fun with or without RM's help.
