They are crowd controllers only, not security guards.
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!

92 crowd controllers vs crowd of 16,758 = 182 people per controller
Hardly - the sound system is shit and the colour merely changes depending on where you sit. As I noted after the first match Nothing has changed, although there did seem to be a little less 40 year old music whenever I was trying to listen to the ref this time. Or maybe I have just stopped hearing out of the other ear...
Yes it's still all garbled down in e127. You can hear the noise but not whats being said.
May the FORCE be with you!
At the end I was waiting at the top of new stand to exit when I'm sure they played an old disco song 'can you feel the force', or can someone tell me I was imagining it?
real thing can you feel the force - YouTube

well, when the first bloke bolted onto the pitch, we counted 5 crowd enforces on the grass, in total.
go to the cricket, and theres one crowd controller every 2-3 meters along the fence! given the propensity for Kiwis to do silly things, I would have thought they would have more than four blokes on the fence.
Not sure if anyone listened to Kaplan over the Footy Ears radio - BUT he's a poncey prick.....arrogant, obnoxious and rude to the Assistant over his micro-phone hook up in the first 10 mins... I bet he was a scrum half once.
Geez it's good to be on a roll...go the force....
I heard a sub called "Red 3" from the sidelines and he said " Hey what? you mean white 3!"
He did ask about that forward pass at the time of the disallowed try on the southern end and the AR didnt answer him.
I couldnt get ref's on my sports ears, I assume its batteries, but was disappointing all the same.
just watching that video, Ill say it again, that its so good to see the energy in the guys during stoppages, plenty of pep talk amongst the lads, plenty of support for each other, bum slaps, high fives and back pats all the time.
Can watch those tackles time and again. Stubbs was awesome. But then so. We're the rest!
May the FORCE be with you!
Defence really was fantastic - but once again maybe they could've tried more creative attacking at those last few runs. Obviously they were all buggared and the Saders had an even tougher defence line but something magical saved for a last ditch attack like the first few minutes?
