I don't know if this classifies as a joke but it was pretty funny.

I went into a hostel in Zagreb the other day and the owner was watching some soccer on the tv and I said to him: So do you like football? (trying to use the local lingo) And he said in very broken English: Yes, yes I love Aussie football. And he pointed to this signed poster he had up of the Croatian National Aussie Rules Football team with the slogan "Aussie Rules: Football for Real Men!". Apparently the play against Austria and the Czech Republic on a pretty regular basis. The guy said they even put it on terrestrial TV. How weird is that?

Damn straight. I was watching a few of the Euro 2008 matches and they flop on the floor like pansies in order to get free kicks for the mildest of touches. I'd love to see them cop some of the hits you get in rugby.
