Western Force five eighth Scott Daruda is poised to resign for one year.
Western Force five eighth Scott Daruda has rejected an enticing offer from French club Clermont Auvergne to stay with the Australian franchise for one more season.
Daruda, 21, was close to signing with the French club but had a change of heart.
It is understood Daruda believes he was too young to chance his arm in France and would learn more with the Force.
thats good to here.
thats great news i didnt think he would stay.
Always good to see current players wanting to stay, it is a good reflection on the situation at the Club/Franchise/whatever however, I must admit this is the the signing I was least pleased to hear.
I hope he takes the Force wanting him as a real boost to his confidence to kick on and justify his spot on the limited roster.

Although the Force is a franchise, I don't like to refer to it as a franchise. I prefer to think of it as a team, and whenever i hear it be referred to as a franchise it just reminds me that its only done for money...
The reference was as in "At a Club, at a Franchise, wherever it may be at" Beav, I wasn't calling our franchise a franchise
Kidding, I do try and think of it as a Club, but really I guess it is an evolving Rep team anyway, seeings as it is Provincially based. Clubs are what feed those Rep teams...
