Inevitable really!
It was just a matter of time before the great man was called.

It's funny, I agree with you Gigs in it being inevitable and probably inevitable to be Chairman one day too, but I have a strange sense as I did with Cosgrove of almost being uneasy. He is kind of "above them" in character and will have a constant fight not to be brought down to the lowest common denominator.
I dunno, maybe something akin to a nun standing at a bus stop in front of a Sunday Session or a knockers shop...

i'm more interested to find out if his opinions on the ARC have been put in the media at all...
Echoing Burgs am uneasy Cosgrove left - really hope Eales can inspire them into unity and solvency which has always seemed to be an issue

80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
I may have been taken out of context a little, what I'm trying to say is that Cosgrove and Eales are too straight for the position and will/would have issues dealing with all the backroom BS, taking away from what on the surface (was Cosgrove) is an excellent choice.
