Emirates Western Force back, Cameron Shepherd, is likely to face an ARU Disciplinary Tribunal following an alleged code of conduct breach in December 2010.
Shepherd was charged by West Australian Police for driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit whilst on a suspended drivers licence.
Shepherd is currently awaiting notification from the Court as to the date of his hearing. The ARU Disciplinary Tribunal will consider the Court’s determination and will convene if required following completion of the legal process, which is expected to be finalised within the coming months.
In the meantime Shepherd will continue to train and prepare for the upcoming 2011 Super Rugby season.
As this matter will shortly be before the Court no further comment will be made at this stage.
ARU protocols require that all alleged code of conduct breaches for Australian contracted Super Rugby players are to be heard by an ARU Disciplinary Tribunal rather than at the provincial level..

Oh, WTF, Cam. Really.
Not too sure why everyone is getting pissed off about this now. Because there was an article about it posted on here in December when it Happened. So we all knew about it. Going off the other thread he won't go to jail or anything like that. Obviously they confiscated the car he was driving for 90 days. And he will cop another fine -and one from the ARU, as well as another driving ban. And if he has any personal sponsors he could lose them as well.
I'd say he is hugely embarrassed as well. Because it was a stupid thing to do And it's. Pretty obvious people will think less of you for it.
Also - not in any way condoning his actions. But were there other factors in place as to why he drove?
And what was his BAC when he was stopped. It could possibly be that the driving while suspended is the buffer offense here.
Will just have to wait and see

Fair call, with Shep and his injury record a medical emergency could be plausible...
