Former Wallaby full-back Chris Latham was taken to hospital on Saturday with a suspected neck injury after temporarily losing feeling in his arms and legs during Worcester's 37-20 Premiership loss to Sale.
The Warriors were 7-3 in front when the inspirational Latham was carried off the field in the 16th minute and there was no doubt the hosts struggled in his absence during the remainder of the match at Sixways.
"Chris Latham is down the hospital at present," said Worcester director of rugby Mike Ruddock.
"He is to undergo scans, because it appears to be a neck ligament problem.
"For a period of time, Latham lost feeling in his arms and legs - but it has returned. He is conscious, and the medical team are reasonably confident he will be okay.
