The best boot in France
Brock James, the 25-year-old flyhalf who joined Clermont Auvergne from the Western Force, is the top scorer in this season’s Top 14 in France at the end of 2006.
James has scored 247 points by the end of Round 17 of the tough championship.
He is followed by Cédric Rosalen of Narbonne with 224 points.
No other players have scored over 200 points as Benjamin Boyet is third on 183 points.
James’s points are made up of three tries, 54 penalty goals, 26 conversions and six drops.
Rosalen scored three more penalty goals but fewer conversions and drops and no tries.
Clermont Auvergne, the Michelin side, are having one of their best seasons in some time and are at present hard on the heels of Stade Français at the top of the Top 14.

Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
now he couldnt make the starting lineup with the force. even dropped at played for nedlands. now hes good![]()
Hopefully he'll come back to WA & theat some time in the future and be a better player for his experience in France. Good on him!
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Man what a turn around
I remember yelling abuse at the tv weekly because of his poor or pointless kicking. now he goes to froglang and thrives just to rub it in
Here Again !!
I was at the stadium last saturday to see Clermont against Castres (30 - 23 win).
in addition with his 15 points, Brocky had a good game. Always here with "in play" kicks and marvelous when passing in attacking plays.
the stadium was full and the temperature was hot also.. ;-)
as usual clear game from his.
Hope he will stay long here in Auvergne.
Come back Brock!!! hahaha
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
Not too soon I hope.. ;-)Originally Posted by Shaunmarn
