The NTS is a program designed to provide individual training to young players who have been identified as having the potential to play under-age representative rugby for Australia and professional Super 14 rugby at a later date.
The training program concentrates on rugby skills development as well as strength, speed and conditioning training. The squad will commence training in the beginning of November after some initial orientation and testing.
All members of the squad will participate on probation during the first few months, after which their ongoing inclusion will be assessed.
This is a very prestigious squad with only a small amount of players being included from around Australia. Australian Rugby and RugbyWA understand that the commitment required by the players is very high. We would like to ensure the players maintain a balanced lifestyle as much as possible during their training period.
:O ben hales!
Wow, he never really striked me as a good player!
So MTB, are we going to see your name there in 2-3 years from now?
Now thats a name to live up to!Matt Bourke (Centre) - John XXIII College , Cottesloe Jnrs
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Lots of future Reds players over in Brisbane but that is beacuse it is more popular.

Hey guys..just inform you a bit moreabout the program.. We train 5 days a week with 3 weights, 3 skills, 2 fittness and 1 speed session...Last year there were only 5 in the program so it is great to have more boys this year and the training is going really well..Its great to see the Force boys around when we are training as well..

I attended the camp last year and it was a great experience with players such as Kurtley Beale preset, was good to see whats out there..Hopefulli this program can allow us to bridge the gap with other states and start producing some WA boys playing in force.

Congratulations Zacko (and the other fellas too) great to see you young fellas getting the opportunities that were pure fantasy "back in my day"!
With hard work, dedication and good competition there is no reason that any or all of you can't go on to higher honours, I assume you all have two arms, two legs, good fitness and a reasonable knowledge of the sport?
Get amongst it mate and make us has beens proud by association.
I hope you have spread the good word of this site to the other fellas?
Be great to have input from some of you as to what you are up to and how things are going.
Perhaps even a diary of sorts?
Good luck with the shoulder too mate!
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Thanks Zack, It's good to have someone on the inside to feed us some info.
Good luck with the shoulder and with hard work you might be the future flyhalf we're waiting for.
What about a Tyler Edwards??
To some its a six-pack, to me it's a support group.
I think Tyler is a bit old for NTS? haha
you got a point
