I reckon it's definitely doable :-)) Would be an awesome 'goodbye, good luck and thank you' to the Badger too :-))
you know for what its worth - whether we make the finals or not- I am happy with the 2014 season.
We have so obviously "turned the corner".
We have found our winning culture.
We have earned respect from everyone.
As nice as it would be to make the finals this year - In my humble opinion there is nothing left to prove this year.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
If the Force, Canes, Blues and Chiefs all finish on 41pts, the Force would qualify for finals PRIOR to the Brumbies game in Canberra.
This is because if teams are tied on competition points, they are next ranked by number of wins. The force would have 9 wins, while all other teams would only have 8.
So, for this to happen...
Cru d Blues
Force d reds with BP
Sto d Bulls
Blu d Chiefs
Chiefs winning by more than 7 yesterday was the first leg of the 5 required.
I am with EX Been a good season and we showed them others WA is not a holiday camp but a family with a sea of blue
With all respect Ex I disagree slightly.
I feel we need to win the next two to prove not just to ourselves, but all the doubters over East that we are not just a flash in the pan this year. With the players that are leaving, we need to end this season on a high.
Last week was a massive loss, it wasn't even close. It was the biggest game in our history & we didn't even turn up.
I love what has happened with the team this year, but, I feel it's important to put that marker down for future years to aspire to.
The Cheetahs put 10 wins together in 2013 & the Stormers 9.... look at them now.
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
The blues really respected us last is was men against boys.

Ok so destiny is in our hands. . If we win we are in. If we lose with a bp and within 7 we are still in. If we lose Within 7 or with a bp we will have to have the blues and chiefs slug it out with the blues winning without a bp. If we lose without a bp is all over. .
Close. If we lose with any bonus points, the Chiefs v Blues game is the decider. Chiefs win and we are out. Chiefs lose with 2 bonus points and we only get one and we are out.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Jargs, Happy and Sloppy.
Yes I did watch the match vs the Auckland Blues and what I saw was one team totally dominate another team in the first 20 minutes where 27 points were put on us. This explosive start caused the Force to change our game plan and revert to a kick for field position which failed in its execution. Yes there were some Force players that I thought played poorly. In particular Hugh McMimmaman. Who got caught in the tackle and turned over 3 times in the first half.
SO the question is - Did the Force play poorly - or did the Blues play what I called the best game of their season. Perhaps it can be a little bit of both. Is the glass half full or the glass half empty. In my opinion the fact that the Blues put on 27 points in the first 20 minutes of the match is the basis for my opinion. A high majority of their passes stuck and they ran angles that caused us to miss or fall off tackles.
I dont expect to change your minds - I am just trying to explain where I am coming from.

And Angus is a rookie.
May the FORCE be with you!
