I reckon he was lucky even though he's got a clean record but good news anyway.

Just happy to be here
I re-watched this serveral times, Staniforth had a bit of pace on him (we know how fast he is) and I think some sort of collision was inevitable.. I think one week was an acceptable penalty ..
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
I think that he reached Josh Blackie at about roughly the same time as the ball was going past them. within a metre either way...
The collision was going to happen either way because of the speed that Scott was moving...
To me it looked like he was extremely frustrated and just let it get the better of him. There have been worse hits that have gone unpunished, I think a week is fair as long as they are consistent with it... And Consistancy is something that the refs have struggled with this year!

Incompetent isn't the right word... But its the first one that comes to mind.

I agree with the Enforcer, Stanners was lucky to get a week. He never looked like making a legitimate tackle. That being said he has a previously unblemished recored and has been one of our stand out players this year. We are really going to miss him against the blues
