Electrical fault sparks city office blaze | PerthNow
CITY workers watched on as fire broke out at Qantas' William St office shortly after 8am today.
Heavy rain is thought to have sparked an electrical fault which caused a sign on the outside of the building to catch fire.
Witnesses said firefighters were on hand within minutes to extinguish the blaze, which did not spread beyond the sign.
The damage bill is estimated to be $4000.
Black cat???
Walk under a ladder???
Qantas really can't win at the moment.![]()

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Rumour has it that the said sign had been maintained overseas from foreign engineers.
