Wallabies coach Dave Rennie has confirmed the 36-player squad to take on Argentina.
Rory Arnold makes his return to the side, last featuring in the Spring Tour, with Samu Kerevi selected to represent Australia at the Commonwealth Games.
He is joined in the squad by Reds duo Jock Campbell and Fraser McReight after their standout performances for Australia A.
Campbell is one of four uncapped players in the squad, with Rebels prop Matt Gibbon powering his way into squad after injuries to Angus Bell (toe) and Harry Johnson-Holmes (achilles).
Gibbon's teammate Pone Fa'amausili and Waratahs forward Jed Holloway are also in contention for their first Tests on the tour after overcoming niggles during the England series.
A raft of injuries in the backline have paved the way for centres Irae Simone and Lalakai Foketi to push for a potential Wallabies return.
Simone has had a standout year for the Brumbies, last featuring for the national side in 2020.
Meanwhile, Foketi made his debut for the Wallabies at the end of the Spring Tour, replacing injured teammate Izaia Perese.
“We were massively disappointed on the weekend but we're only three matches into a 14-Test season so we need to take the lessons on board quickly and learn from them," Rennie said in a statement.
"To be able to pick guys who have performed well in the Australia A program against quality International opposition is a massive positive and we're looking forward to welcoming them to the mob next week.
"We're well aware of how tough the challenge is of playing Argentina two weeks in a row on their home soil and they'll be full of confidence after their series win over Scotland."
The squad will assemble on the Gold Coast on Tuesday before travelling to Argentina on Friday.
They will open the Rugby Championship with games against Los Pumas on the 6th and 13th of August (local time) in Mendoza and San Juan respectively.

Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
I really dont have a problem with a lack of Force players in the Wallabies Squad.
It just shows that we have a Champion Team that punches way above its weight limit than a team of Champions.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Michael Hooper withdraws from Wallabies squad
Very impressed with Hooper. To me, showing vulnerability is never weakness. It's always courageous & brave

"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
I will never complain about Aussie or Kiwi commentators again. I had the pleasure of watching this “World” feed and being at a funeral would be too exciting to describe the commentary. I was surprised how much of a difference it makes to the game, even when we scored it made ya feel like ‘meh’.

I was under the impression they've been at 7 for a while. Feels more like they've found their level, rather than 'ouch'. Can't see it changing unless they actually try addressing the shortcomings in the development system; probably need to be more worrying about Wales and Japan until then, let alone Argentina...
The way they played top ten is generous
