Following England’s disappointing 2018 Six Nations campaign, Eddie Jones has handed in his resignation and has taken up a new role with the Wallabies.
Jones has been named as the Wallabies new Director of Rugby. The new role means he will head up Australia’s preparations for the 2019 Rugby World Cup and will effectively be current Wallabies coach Michael Cheika’s boss.
Cheika welcomed the news of Jones appointment saying: “I can’t wait to work with Eddie, he is a fantastic coach and has a lot to say on what I’m doing wrong with the national side, so things won’t change that much. He will probably just call me at 4 in the morning now.”
Eddie Jones thanked the English public and England Rugby saying: “I would like to thank the English public, media and the board for all the support they gave me during my time with the national side.
He went onto explain his decision to leave: “I would have loved to have taken England to Japan but I wanted to take a team to the World Cup that I thought I can actually win it with.”
“Australia have a strong pool of players and I think Michael and I can make them World Champions.”
“I knew when we lost to Ireland that my time was up and I contacted Raelene Castle who welcomed me with open arms and we decided that today would be the perfect day to make this announcement”

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa

Sorry mate they arent. Their bosses might be.
But the players are just a bunch of 20 somethings (sprinkled in with a few 30 somethings) who are the best players in this country in their positions. Oh, and then there is Beale, Foley and Folau who get selected in their positions because they are from NSW and RA pay them a lot of money.

Best players in the country is arguable at best.
They have also signed on as represetives of the organisation that is actively destroying rugby through malicious and ineptitude. They could be likened to scabs working during a union campaign that will benefit all workers, taking their contract money and advancing their career at the cost of everyone else. But I acknowledge that opinion is pretty glass half empty.

We could continue to hash out this difference of opinion, boring everybody here, or we could fast forward about 20 Posts and agree to disagree... I'm voting for the latter.
