Wales caretaker coach Scott Johnson says preparations will start immediately for the Six Nations clash with Ireland.{br}{br}View the Entire Article{br}
So what is this going to do with the ARU plans to sign on Johnson as the new wallabies backs assitant coach?
At this stage it appears that he is only caretaker coach to get through the Six Nations period.
The Wallabies role wouldn't begin until after the Super 14 so the time frame is ok.
That said, I doubt that he would knock back the offer of permanent coach of Wales to play second fiddle to Connolly if he is offered both.
An awesome opportunity for a lesser known coach to really set up a career.
Johnson has said previously that nothing is fixed - the man does not operate under contracts and works from one week to the next, so any deal with the ARU was probably not signed and sealed anyway, even though the press seemed to think it was at the time...Originally Posted by Burgs

Also states that there may be a player v coach problem with the outgoing coach Ruddock.
