so from having to many props we will have to few
but good luck to troy!
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
jauzy, our french connection! Thanks for the info, big shame to see Troy leaving, but as with the other big fellas up front, here's to them coming home again in a few years bigger, stronger, wealthier, and looking show us what we've missed out on...
Hear, hear, Coach!
All the best over there, Chicken!!!
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
it is the courage to continue that counts.

While its a shame Takiari has decided to move on, its a great opportunity for the Force to put both their academy props on rookie contracts. Probably costs the same but it would be two more West Australians in the team and they'd get more exposure in training to experienced props like Dunning and Fairbrother.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Buggering hellfire!! Now we are genuinely short of props.
I've got to disagree James. On a pure numbers game, you can almost guarantee that whoever replaces Troy will need to front up in a S14 match. Before throwing them out against a Woodcock or Smit, I'd want to be damn confident that our rookies weren't going to get their heads shoved back through their own bum or completely unbalance the scrum, on safety grounds if nothing else. They should be upped once they are good enough, not just because they are conveniently to hand.
Bet this wasn't in the plan when they signed Dunning and Fairbrother! Maybe they should have locked in some other signatures first...
Dunno about Takiari, but they were well aware of the situation with Hardy.
Sign one and he was looking, sign two and he was gone.
