Confirmed draw expected tomorrow
Hopefully the draft draw that had us playing 5 of our first 6 away from home next year has been rectified. If we do get that draw we are hugely disadvantaged to start the season.
The draw might give us a good indication of how the ARU views the Force at the moment - do they want to help, or are they happy to see us fade away in 2018 through continued poor on-field results.

Canada is good (especially some of their craft beers!)

First home game is on a Thursday - were there any Thursday games last season?
Pretty ok travel schedule for us this season![]()
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
As always tough draw and hectic travel schedule, but will great to host three NZ teams at home
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
Thursday game not too bad because it is a long weekend in WA.
Easter is a bye, first time in while that we have not played at Easter.
ANZAC Day is a Tuesday, so no clash there.
WA Day weekend we have the Canes at home on Saturday night.
So the holiday weekends work out pretty good.
Playing three kiwi teams at home is an ideal three game pack to promote to the bro's if HQ can get their act together.

Kiwi games = bums in seats (although opposition)
First game is in Sydney - probably after no Australian Super Rugby team will play us in pre-season, so we'll be under-done. 3 of the last 4 years!

Can't complain too much about that draw. No short turnarounds (< 7 days). A week in SA before going to Argentina, might be rough but everyone has to do it. Consecutive weeks in NZ. Consecutive weeks at home to recover.
