Well it's almost over and if anybody thinks that the AFL are not giving him a fair go they should give themselves a shake!

Just happy to be here
The disrepute charge is the one that's indefensible in my view. There is enough grey in the bungled police charge and all the other crap to give room for a good lawyer to argue a case, but Cousins has been the public face of all that is wrong with AFL for the whole year. Disrepute is putting it lightly!

The AFL and the players of today and the future should thank Ben Cousins and be forever in his debt for his selfless act in forcing the AFL into sorting out its pathetic stance on the ever increasing drug problem.
The AFL should build monuments at every club to pay homage to one man who has moved a mountain.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I think it's unreasonable to put a statue of the man, that might offend fans of rival clubs. I'd suggest something more impressionist, possibly a sculpture of bronze ecstasy tablets, or two long white lines painted onto a mirror with a rolled up fifty and a giant razor blade.

ohh west coast are f**ked now.
this should be interesting.
looks like he was on the coke for 5 days! ended up in hospital, so i guess his dad was right when he spoke saying he wasn't missing in LA and there was no need to worry.http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=321475
bastard just doesnt get it does he?? he goes on and on about training to get picked up by another club to continue his AFL career and he goes on a (alleged) 5 day cocaine bender and still seriously thinks he has a career left in the AFL???
the guy has a serious medical condition
treat it as such
It may be of his own making, but hey,are the rest of us lilly white?
It's sad actually!
I've never been one to give a lot of time to the 'addiction is a medical condition' argument, but this guy is seriously abnormal! It's like an episode of days of our lives written by Snoop Dogg!
I hope he hits rock bottom soon, he's shortening his life by dangerous amounts if this story is accurate.

if he has n addiction problem the efforts of anyone else are useless until he wants to get off the stuff.
so yeah i agree with GIGST, i hope he hits the bottom soon so he can get off everything and survive
Good to see a few positive things said about him. He's a addict we know it, he doesnt. Give the poor bugger some space to get better, ie the media.
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
Everyone knows that the best socks are in Canberra!
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
he's just am idiot that threw it all away, thats the view of most of people i know (and myself). If the AFL and West Coast hadn't treated him the like a princess maybe it wouldn't have come to this.
