New Western Force hooker Tom Sexton could easily have turned his back on the tough challenge of breaking into Super Rugby to revive his career in Ireland.
Victoria-born Sexton, who moved to Dublin when he was four, joined Melbourne Rebels from Irish club Leinster two years ago after making eight appearances for the European Cup-winning club.
But the Ireland schoolboys and 2009 Junior World Cup captain missed the 2014 Super season after injuring his right anterior cruciate ligament in the pre-season and made just five appearances off the bench last season.
Now the 25-year-old is looking to cement a position at the Force.
