I watched this kid a few weeks ago in the Toyota Cup and he has some real fire in him.
Matt Mundine the 17 year old cousin of the 'Man' Mundine plays for St George in the Toyota Cup comp and is signed until 2010.
Twice as big as his older cousin but with very similar skills. He will no doubt make a name in rugby for himself.
Now that Shasta and Jargs have publicly outed me as a closet mungo fan I can put these posts in now. I even trained at the gym in my NSW Blues singlet this week. It's good to be out of the closet.
I didn't "out" you publicly?

i have seen him myself, i always tried to watch the Toyota Cup as well as the main game where my Dragons were concerned. He was injured towards the end of the season unfortunately. He does have the skills and will probably have a decent future in front of him. Hopefully he has the skill of switching his mouth off unlike his older cousin

I've watch him twice. From what I've i've seen i'd argue he's better than his cousin. He has a very good offload and for a second rower/prop he's pretty good at getting over that try line. He actually reminds me more of Ashton Sims back in the day
"Remember lads, rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to Giteau."
he does have a knack for getting over the try line. I remember against the Sharks i think it was (it was a game the Dragons came back from 20-6 down) and he came up with a try when there was nothing what so ever on, bloody brilliant it was
