Beckham scores 70-yard goal (+video)
Stuff.co.nz | Friday, 30 May 2008
David Beckham scored yet another ridiculous goal to add to his collection last weekend in America's MLS league.
Playing for the LA Galaxy against Kansas City Wizards the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star scored from a whopping 70 yards.
Having previously scored from the half way line against Wimbledon in 1996, Beckham outdid himself by scoring a goal from almost three quarters of the length of the pitch.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I prefer this one, although it's about ten yards further up the field it's a much better strike and the goalie is actually in goals...
PS. It takes about 5 seconds to actually start after you press play.
You're easily impressed FT.
what was the goal keeper doing, he didn't get near the incoming cross.......
You can't argue that Beckham is an incredible talent...pity he opens his mouth.
Also a good one BLR![]()
