We're happy to announce that the Round 17 fixture between Cott & Wests will be our game of the week to coincide with Cottesloe's 120th Anniversary celebrations.
We'll provided extended coverage including pre & post game activities and interviews with players/coaches - maybe even get a comment from the premier who is tossing the coin!
We're putting out the call to anyone who would like to join the commentary team for this game as part of the coverage.
Game is on the 3rd (not 7th)

I'll do it if you can guarantee Cottesloe lose.
I will so see you there Fulvio
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
nah,he will be with RM at Tompkins
This "Cottesloe's 120th Year" story was started by a journalist called Bob Messenger in the 1980's who drew a very tenuous connection between the Cottesloe Rugby Club and a previously existing club which played another kind of sport altogether, on the basis that a couple of the older club's members, in their dotage, became members of Cottesloe.
Bit sad, really.
Bob,like a lot of us,enjoyed the odd beer----I wonder who Cott played against 120 years ago?
I'm glad you raised it Fulvio.
This so-called 120th Anniversary should be cancelled. It's one of the biggest dummy passes in the history of the game and a whole bunch of people have bought it. Anyone who turns up to the game has been had.
The links between some outfit called the Pirates in the late 1800's and the Cottesloe Rugby Club are dotted lines at best with massive gaps where nothing happened.
Thought the Chinese Communist Party were the best at re-writing history but our "dear friends" at Cott take the cake.
LMSC should boycott the game until Cott start coughing up the truth.
PS Gunny, you've just come back onto my radar after a quiet spell!
For Chri'sake RM, will you stop agreeing with me!
It makes me look bad.
120 years. That's stretching the truth as far as Perth Bayswaters claim. What next Palmyra claiming 200 years of rugby because some Aboriginals walked past Tompkins park throwing a Boab nut at each other. Are Nedlands the only club that tells the truth in this competition.
Nedlands is having its 1,000th Anniversary in 2014.
And our great leader Hansie is 150 years old.
So there.
Go Neddies.
120 years is being humble - as Cott always are.
Their historic claims are backed up by artifacts dug up on Harvey field.
